Hitman Reborn!

So I started watching this new anime about a month ago. It's called Katekyo Hitman Reborn. The only reason I started watching it was because I saw it on the "Currently playing anime list", also it was rated fairly high. The first season wasn't all that great. The story is about a kid who was next in line to become a mafia boss. The 10th boss to be exact, of a mafia family known as the Vongola. This kid's name is Tsunayoshi but everybody just calls him Tsuna. So the story starts as Tsuna gets a "Home tutor" because he isn't doing very well in school. However it turns out that this "Home tutor" is actually a little kid sent to train Tsuna to become the next mafia boss. As you could imagine the first season is a bit weird. The first season is mostly an intro to the main characters of the plot. The series really picks up during the second season. During the second season many new elements are introduced into the plot and things start to get interesting. Also, Tsuna and his friends finally begin to unlock powers and the fighting actually becomes very entertaining to watch. The show right now is at a very interesting part. Long story short, Tsuna and his friends travel 10 years into the future to fight an evil mafia leader known as Byakuran. He poses a threat to the entire human race. If I remember correctly, Byakuran is trying to enslave the human race, even though he doesn't seem like a bad person. When you see Byakuran in the show, he comes across as a very laid back and funny character. However his intentions are non but evil. But anyway this anime is definately worth watching if you can get past the first season. The action also really picks up around the third season and onward.

According to Jim

I'm watching TBS right now and the show According to Jim is coming up. I used to watch this show a long time ago back when I was in middle school before it was canceled. I love the way this episode started lol. Jim was supposed to be playing with the kids but he was actually sleeping the whole time. When he woke up he had makeup all over his face. And when his wife came home she was mad that he didn't play with the girls. When she realized he had makeup all over his face she told him that he should go out with his friends. I thought it was really funny. This is one of my favorite shows and I have no idea why they canceled it. Ugh I hate these long commercials lol. So apparently Jim's brother in-law needs some money to buy a condo. Jim's wife wants to give him their Italy trip money to help him out, however they have to ask Jim first. Turns out Jim used up the Italy money and now hes gonna be in trouble with his wife. Lol his wife just went out to the bank to get the money herself. Another boring commercial break. And she just found out that Jim used the Italy money. Jim just got home and now they are arguing lol. And as usual the wife leaves all pissed off. Now shes opened up a garage sale of some sort to make some money. And as usual they somehow make things better. If only things could be solved that quickly in real life. Jim's brother in-law just ended up borrowing money from his other sister, and now apparently hes gonna have to do a bunch of favors for her to make it up lol. Anyway episode is over.

Sonic Unleashed Intro

I was just browsing through youtube and I stumbled upon this video. This video shows Sonic infiltrating Dr. Eggman's space armada. He gets beat at the end but the first part of the video was amazing.

**WATCH IN HIGH QUALITY**

Hilarious Pepsi Commercial

I thought this commercial was freaking hilarious.

Letters to the editor

I read a series of letters to the editor on www.nytimes.com. These letters argue about whether or not we should have a tax on soft drinks. These letters provide both sides of the argument. Some support the tax saying that they would be more than happy to pay such a tax in order to help the obesity problem in America. Others say that a tax on soft drinks would be ridiculous and that in moderation, soft drinks don't cause any problems.

Personally I would have to disagree with this idea of taxing soft drinks. I truly don't believe that increasing taxes will stop people from wanting to drink sodas. Anything in moderation is fine, including sodas. If somebody drinks sodas out of moderation then it is their own fault. Same with everything else. Food should be consumed in moderation, exercise should be done in moderation, sleep should be done in moderation. Anything overdone will usually end in negative results. If you are going to tax something like sodas then why not tax overeating? This tax just simply doesn't make sense to me. Anyway read more about it at the link above.

My writing process

When I write, I usually start with a very rough free write to get all my ideas down on the paper. After all my ideas are down I read over it to make sure I didn't leave anything out. Then I start a new paper that is structured better and still presenting all of my ideas. This is usually the rough draft. Next step is to proofread the rough draft. I read over to check for things that don't make sense or things that aren't clear. I also use this time to check for grammatical and punctuational errors. Once this is done I will read over my paper once again to see if I covered everything I wanted to cover. If not, I will add more into it at this point. Then once again I will read through it to make sure everything makes sense and it flows well. Do another quick proofread, then I'm done.

Superstitions

Superstitions are beliefs that some people have about certain things. They can be both positive and negative. A positive example of a superstition would be things like Santa Clause, and a negative example would be things like ghosts or curses. I'm not superstitious. I don't believe in any of them. I like to look at things from a logical point of view. I used to believe in the normal kids superstitions when I was in elementary school but I grew out of that pretty quick. But now, I like to look at everything from a scientific point of view.

I don't think my parents did Santa Clause right when I was little. I remember when I believed in him but I always wondered why I never actually got any gifts from him. I guess my mom didn't really know what she was doing. I wondered to myself why I never got any gifts from Santa. I thought, maybe he just picks up the presents from my family then delivers it under the tree. I don't remember why I stopped believing in him but that's irrelevant.

First Essay

For my first essay I think that I'm going to describe a scene/community that I know very well. The scene/community I am going to write about is the World of Warcraft community while in Ironforge. As this is a gamer blog it would only be natural for the essay to be about a video game. This place should fit the requirements perfectly. It is a place where hundreds of people gather to trade and converse with other people in the warcraft community.

The 6 stages of Gamer skill level

I have thought up 6 different stages of gamer skill level. This means that there are 6 different levels of skill you can obtain as a gamer.

Stage 1: You are just beginning and learning all the basics. You have a grasp on most of the concepts but still have not quite mastered them yet. At this point you can beat some people but still loose most of the time.

Stage 2: You have mastered all of the basic concepts and you have vast knowledge of the game you are playing. At this point you are able to beat most people you come against.

Stage 3: This stage comes after years of practice. You have become so attuned to the game and other players that you are now able to pinpoint exactly when the opponent gives you an opening and you are able to take it. By this stage you are considered semi-pro.

Stage 4: This stage comes with even more years of practice. Up until this point you have only been able to see your opponent's openings. Upon reaching stage 4, you are now able to recognize your own openings and you prevent them from happening. By this stage you are considered Pro.

Stage 5: Very very few people ever reach this stage. This stage will come from practicing for decades. By this stage, you are able to predict all enemy movements. You have seen and played this game for so long that you are now able to clearly see what the opponent is going to do next. You are pretty much able to predict the entire match by this point. Very few Pro's actually reach stage 5. Most Pro's usually stop at stage 4.

Stage 6: This stage takes almost half a lifetime to obtain. Maybe one or two people per generation might reach this stage. By stage 6 you have been playing for so long that you can not only predict what your enemy will do, but you can actually manipulate them. When you start the game you can actually control exactly what the enemy will do and force them to make mistakes. By this stage you are unstoppable. The only way you would loose a match is if luck was completely against you. You are godly by this point.

Blended Families

A blended family is a family in which a couple both have kids which are from when they were with a different person. Living in this situation is usually pretty tough on everybody. All the kids have to start living together, and the parents have to start taking care of more kids, unless the kids are old enough to be living on their own.

My roommate actually comes from a mixed family. He has one older sister, and his dad married his step mom who had a son of her own. It wasn't so bad for my roommate because this marriage happened when he was a senior in high school. Otherwise it would have been really tough living with new people. Its almost like having permanent guests at your house.

My friend doesn't get along with his new step mom very well. Their personalities clash all the time and they can never seem to agree on anything. This is probably due to the fact that they were living in different types of environments and when they are forced to live together, its not surprising that they don't get along. Luckily he gets along very well with his step brother. His step brother is much older. He is about 5 years older than my roommate.

I wouldn't be surprised if many blended families have problems with the children getting along. I could see the kids always getting in fights with each other over little things that normally wouldn't be an issue in the house, such as rules set by their previous parents or different things like that.

Well anyway thanks for taking the time to read this post.

My New UI

This is the new UI I set up today in World of Warcraft...It isn't very good yet but I am still working on it. Hopefully I can get it looking really nice pretty soon.

Amazing Street Fighter Footage!

Daigo vs. Justin...

Justin (Chun-Li) is about to overcome Daigo (Ken), when Daigo full parries Justin's special combo for a come from behind victory. This is probably one of the most amazing feats in street fighter history caught on film.

Algalon 25 World First Video

This is a video about the game World of Warcraft. This video shows the top guild in the world "Ensidia" killing Algalon the Observer in Ulduar 25 man. This fight is currently the hardest fight to get to, and to complete in the game.

This video is simply amazing. The editing is fantastic and the music is just perfect.

SWTOR

Star Wars The Old Republic MMO for the PC is coming soon I can't wait! This game is going to revolutionize the MMO world. They just released a new video and that was really cool because they showed us some more stuff to the game. If you want to read more on this game or watch the videos go to www.swtor.com

Ice Climbers grab combo video

This is a video about the game super smash brothers brawl. Ice climbers is one of the characters you can play and this is an advanced combo video about their chain grabs.

This video is extremely well made, but you probably won't be able to appreciate how good it is unless you actually play super smash brothers.

Bleach!!!

Hey I've been watching the Bleach Anime series lately and I really liked this intro to the 2nd season of Bleach. Here's a vid of it. I also just put the song on auto play when you open my page.

The two blogs I read for class...

This is an assignment I'm supposed to do for my English 101 class just in case anybody was wondering. The first blog site I went to is http://blog.designpublic.com/. This blog seems to be mostly about art. I'm not really that interested in art but I looked through it anyway. Some of the things from this blog were pretty cool. Like those really nice looking houses and rooms they showed. It looked like a small house but the inside looked really awesome. And some of the decorations they had around the house were like things out of a movie or something. Really cool looking houses.

The second blog website that I found was about science. Here's a link http://www.plos.org/cms/blogs I like science but I don't think I like it enough to blog about it. Anyway this blog had some interesting things concerning different areas of science. Seemed like mostly medical science related though.

If you get a chance, you could read through either of those blogs if you find any of those things interesting to you. Anyway thanks for reading, keep checking back for updates. I have a lot of interest in video games and anime so I will probably be putting up a lot of those things.
